before we talk about our trip to the park, i have to tell a sad story about our camera. apparently sd cards, the memory cards used to store pictures on your camera, can go bad with no warning at all. i know from experience sadly. one day i went to transfer pictures onto our computer and got an error message. tried again. and again. and again. and i soon realized something was very wrong. none of the pictures or videos were on the card. i tried several different programs to recover the pictures, but not all of them came back, and as you'll see, some of them have streaks across the picture, or they're really small. thankfully, as this happened, i just scooped ellery up in my arms and reminded myself that they're just pictures... though it was still super frustrating.
so now you know why some of the pictures in the next few posts may look a little funny. anyway, onto the park!
i mentioned before that ellery discovered her love for swings when we visited momo & papa in indiana. ever since we saw how she lights up as she gets swinging, we knew the park would be a hot spot for us this summer. and though it took a little searching, we finally found a park near our house with swings just the right size for ellery. and even better, daddy got off work early so he could join us for a date at jacobus park!
