distracted sleeping...

lately, i've been hearing a little something interesting in the mornings. instead of waking up to the sounds of ellery talking or crying, i wake up to the sound of music. with some animal noises mixed in... the first morning, i was pretty curious to find out what was going on. as i crept into e's room, this is what i found:

ellery has been moving all around her crib, and has now discovered she can roll all the way to the end to her toy piano. normally, i will put her in her crib & let her play with the piano while i shower. and we must have left it on from one of those times, and ellery took full advantage! who wouldn't want a little piano recital at 6 in the morning?

needless to say, we moved the piano out of the crib, and e often falls back to sleep when she wakes up that early instead of rocking out on her piano :)
