ellery's third week

YAY! you could almost hear ellery & i shout for joy - we made it to kyle's week of vacation! he was off for ellery's whole third week and his girls couldn't be more excited!! we soaked up every second of our time together, making sure we had plenty of fun and got to relax all at the same time. kyle and i (and ellery) agree it was a wonderful vacation - we just wish it could have been longer!

ellery had her 2-week appointment, and it was great both kyle & i got to go. she's still doing awesome, especially with eating & gaining weight! she gained a whole pound from her last appointment. ellery does have a clogged tear duct in her left eye so we have been cleaning that two times a day to hopefully get whatever's blocking it outta there. other than that, she is a very happy, healthy baby girl, getting more alert (and cuter!) with each day!

ellery got to "model" for a local photography company - ticklebugs photography. it may have been the beginning and end of her modeling career seeing as she didn't fall asleep the whole 4.5 hours we were there, and when we would lay her down she would just cry!

we tried everything - feeding, diaper change, singing, bouncing, cuddling - nothing worked. we even tried to do our own photo shoot while others were "modeling." we decided she looks like a mini monk... not quite the look we were going for. you can see how she feels about it...

but somehow the fabulous photographer still managed to get some cute ones!!

the three of us went out for pizza & then walked around bayshore mall. we loved all the christmas lights. ellery did so great, and we made it to baby gap (ellery & i's favorite!) before she decided it was time to hit the road - ie screaming crying for mama to feed her :)

i have decided everyone in our family has to get an itouch or iphone. daddy & ellery chatted with aunt keri using facetime and ellery LOVED it!! look at those eyes!!
